 Ash Rae

Ash has always been a unique personality that would rebel against the norm in any way she could. Her childlike imagination & wonder for life is the muse for her creativity & she uses writing as an outlet. Ash has experienced various forms of trauma in her life & she started the blog to help others through their life traumas & other obstacles thrown their way. Ash aims to be a pioneer in her own market, showing that successful, kind people can have tattoos, smoke weed, deal with disabilities, & traumas. Ash's sole focus is to inspire & empower others to live their best lives through healing & laughter.

Willow Williams

Accountant by day, writer by night, Willow Williams is a dendrophile, vegetarian, and singer/songwriter from the Inland Pacific Northwest. She has a BA in English from Washington State University, and an AA in accounting from Columbia Basin College. She has taken part in several online songwriting challenges over the years, and enjoys the interplay between poetry and lyrics. Her poem Space was chosen as the fifth movement text for the Alexandria Choral Society’s crowd-sourced piece entitled “Refuge”, released May 2022. She is also (she assumes) a hip GMa to three amazing grandkiddos. Willow lives in NE Oregon with her partner and the goofy but lovable, Sir Remington of Barksville Manor. She writes mostly for her own sanity and amusement.

Darcy Kitten

Darcy is BDL’s resident Website Tinkerer. They are heavily into volunteering with local Drag, Burlesque, and Variety Shows. Her greatest joy is being a bratty stage kitten between sets. When not navigating the 9-5 grind Darcy splits his time spending time with his godchild, playing video games of all varieties, and a multitude of tabletop role paying games.
